Vendor Applications
Presented by the Community Arts Network of Oneonta (CANO), The City of the Hills Festival is returning to Downtown Oneonta Friday, September 13th & Saturday, September 14, 2024. We are seeking leading-edge art/maker/vintage/food vendors to pop up in downtown Oneonta!
This year, we are doing things differently. Kick off the festival on CANO grounds Friday, September 13, 5-9pm with a block party! A limited number of vendors will be in our parking lot and on our porch/grounds with entertainment and an art opening inside the mansion, family-friendly activities in the art studio and outside (weather permitting), food trucks, and more. On Saturday, September 14, noon-5pm, the festival is on Main Street with performers, family-friendly and adult activities, vendors lined up and down the street, food trucks, and restaurants with outdoor seating.
Art/Crafts must be handmade, original works for sale (vintage category excluded). Jury decisions are based upon creativity, workmanship, and continuity of work.
We are accepting Food & Food Truck vendors this year. Vendors must have all necessary permits/licensing. Food vendors must make and/or produce their own products.
Any photographs of vendor display from past festivals is appreciated. Send high quality photos of your work, as we will use them for social media promotion if accepted!
*Images of work submitted must be those that applicant intends to sell at the Festival. Applicants will be selected by jury review. All completed entries submitted by the deadline will receive consideration.
Selected exhibitors must supply their own display equipment, including chairs and table, and a 10’ X 10’ outdoor tent. Bring weights, etc. to secure your tent in case of wind. No electricity is available. All jury decisions are final. Do not attempt to submit payment at this time.
Event Details
Art/Craft/Vintage/Food Vendor Space & Location: 10’ X10’ Outdoor Tent in CANO’s parking lot Friday, September 13, 5-9pm and on Main Street, Oneonta, NY Saturday, September 14, noon-5pm. Vendors may apply for one or both days.
Food Trucks: Spots available for Friday, September 13, 5-9pm at CANO and downtown Oneonta right off of Main Street on Saturday, September 14. Must fill out an application with photos. May apply for one or both days- although one day is preferable. Please contact us at cityofthehillsfest@gmail.com after filling out application
Date: Friday, September 13, 5-9pm & Saturday, September 14, 12-5pm. Rain or Shine.
Vendor Fee: $65 Friday night. $110 Saturday.
CANO Members: $60 Friday night. $100 Saturday. CANO memberships are here: canoneonta.org
Application deadline: May 15th. Please note that early applications will receive first consideration.
Payment deadline: June 15th.
Applications received on or before May 15th will be notified by June 1st. Applications received after the deadline will be considered on a rolling basis, if space allows.
